i am almost always inside. i sat outside directly in the sun today then walked in maybe 20 minutes later and my vision is mostly green and i can barely see. it’s finally clearing up slowly. why does this happen?

Our sun’s light spectrum peaks at green light. When you’re outside and exposed to heavy sunlight the green cones in your eyes are being activated to a point of saturation. When you move back inside, the cones continue to send signals to the brain as if they are still seeing a lot of green which makes everything have a green tint. After a while, the cones readjust to the actual amount of green being perceived.

This might be a bit wrong, but should in the ballpark. If anyone can expand on it, go for it.
