Putting my bare hand near the window, not touching it, makes it go all misty, why is this. It’s only at the top of the window, the window is closed, and it’s not cold in here. I’ve never seen this before and it’s. a bit creepy.

Your hand is hot, and so is the air around it. Hot air can carry more water than cold air. Your hand is providing water to the hot air around it. When you go near the cold glass, the air can no longer hold that much water so the water falls out of the air becoming condensation.
