since you’re connecting through an ISP, you don’t have to worry about BGP.

This sounds suspiciously like a homework assignment, but generally most enterprises will connect to the Internet largely the same way your house does: by subscribing to an Internet Service Provider.

Usually the plans offered to businesses are slightly different than the plans offered to residential customers (for example, business plans will typically offer a Service Level Agreement not available on residential plans) but the broad strokes are the same: the ISP provides you a connection, you jack your router in to said connection, and as long as your company pays their monthly bill the office will have Internet access. Stuff like peering agreements and BGP is not really something most customers have to worry about.
