If you threw a ball into the air at an angle, it would rise and then fall as it traveled forwards.
If you recorded that on video and played it backwards, the laws of physics would work backwards identical to the way they work forwards, so much so that it is fundamentally impossible to tell which way was played forwards and which way was played backwards.
That fundamental reversibility is what time reversal symmetry is talking about.
