I’m trying to google this, but can’t find an answer to the question I’m directly asking.
I only have scalp psoriasis. What happens with my body that only my scalp is targeted, and not the rest of my body?
The way psoriasis was explained to me was that my white blood cells are basically stupid and think my scalp is injured, so they start overproducing skin cells to “heal” my scalp when nothing is actually wrong with it. If this is true, or true enough, why does the scalp specifically have psoriasis target it rather than “foot psoriasis” or “chest psoriasis”?
