the difference between “Rated Capacity” and “Typical Capacity” of a battery

Note 10+ battery says the rated capacity is 4170 mAh while typical capacity is the advertised 4300 mAh. Why the two numbers?

Typical capacity is the average of all the phones’, of this model, battery capacity but the rated capacity is your own phone’s battery capacity
