The foot fungus potential from shared showeres (dorms, barracks, etc) making shower shows necessary… does this start with one person being gross or is it from the calculus of the collective foot funk?

It’s one person who has undiagnosed fungal infection or who doesn’t care. You don’t need to be gross to get infected.
One person can be carrying the fungus and either not know or not care. Fungus can infect clean feet, if they’re constantly in a warm, moist, dark environment, like a shoe.
Shower shows?! Is THAT how I’m supposed to avoid foot fungus in the shower? And to think, I’ve been wearing sandals this whole time.
