How is water dispersed through the body when you’re dehydrated? Does your body choose what organs to prioritize, or does the hydration start at a central source and is then spread evenly throughout the body from closest to the source to furthest from the source?

There is a process called osmosis where water flows to various places depending upon their water and salt content, other than that cells can actively move water or salts across a cell membrane.
