Something in my brain just isn’t clicking. The wikipedia article is difficult for me to understand, and maybe I’m just having one of those days.

Cybernetics can be a lot, a plethora of different categories and systems can fall under the umbrella of cybernetics. A very simple understanding is: machine experiences > machine computes > machine reorganizes > machine repeats
The goal of cybernetics, no matter what it is applied to, is to create the most efficient system possible.
