What are the disadvantages of implants as compared with normal teeth?

Surely if they cannot get cavities, they are superior?

I have one in the lower jaw at the back so it’s not very visible. Mine chipped 30 minutes after I left the dentist and again 2 weeks ago after 1,5 year. I think this was because of poor dental work because it started moving too after 1 week it was done. However I can eat with it just like it was the real thing and it keeps (off?) my other teeth wandering around so overall I would do it again but just at another dentist. It’s expensive, takes time but it’s worth it and (I was told) they can last a good 10-15 years if you take care of them.

they cannot get cavities but your bone and gums can still be infected.

You also have less feeling and feedback from your teeth (i guess that can be good and bad at the same time)

The real teeth are still the best thing you will ever get (unless you have a birth defect or something like that regaring your teeth).
