They call and say they need my attorneys information. They then get upset when I tell them I don’t have an attorney. I know they are scammers. But what are they trying to do with attorney information? I don’t get it. I always answer and make up a story to string them along. They have never asked me for money.

They’re trying to make a sense of urgency so you stop thinking rationally and send the scammers untraceable gift cards. I.e., they are stealing your monies.
