They call and say they need my attorneys information. They then get upset when I tell them I don’t have an attorney. I know they are scammers. But what are they trying to do with attorney information? I don’t get it. I always answer and make up a story to string them along. They have never asked me for money.

Lookup the phone number for your State’s Attorney General’s office and give them that number. If you can, try to find the department that handles consumer fraud cases.
Also they don’t need your attorney’s information to sue you in court (if they were legit, which they are not.) Tell them you’ll get an attorney once a lawsuit is filed. They want to serve papers? Go ahead. Good luck! It’s not your job to help them. You don’t need to give them your address or any information. So don’t.
