My 6yo is mad about Dinos and fossils and has ran through many fossil digging kits. What can I tell him that will be easy for him to understand what all should he do in order to have a good chance of becoming a paleontologist?

A 6 year old the first step is learning more about biology, once the items are recovered the key is working out what purposes do they serve, how do the animals move, what do they eat etc. however lots of young children like dinosaurs.
