What causes dew, when does it form, possibly touching on dewpoint?

So as I’m sure you notice when it’s muggy out, the air around you can hold water in it. This is called water vapor. Warm air can hold more water vapor. So when warm air meets the cold ground it will cool slightly and have to get rid of some of that water vapor by condensing it into visible drops that will stick to things close to the ground.

The air around you has water vapor. Below a certain atmospheric temperature, this vapor condenses and returns to liquid form I.e dew, and that temperature = dew point
