What do forest animals do during rainstorms?

Besides the ones that have some form of den/shelter/burrow, do they attempt to find a hiding place or is it business as usual?

Smaller animals usually have a den or burrow. Larger animals like deer might find a sheltered spot out of the wind, but there aren’t a lot of roofs in the wild so they just get wet.

Most animals just get wet

Smaller animals might burrow, while larger ones might hide under cover or group together to escape the wind but mostly they just let themselves get soaked.

They evolved to survive in that kind of weather. Humans are the weird ones prone to hypothermia because we tend to live in colder climates our bodies weren’t designed for.

This sounds like a question with straightforward answer, rather than a complex concept that you want simplified.
