Faster bandwidth/connection will allow less hardware on your handheld device, processing will occur on the cloud and get streamed to your device. This hypothetically can allow a revolution in how we use our technology. Much more to explored but imagine being able to turn your device into a very high performing computer.
First of all “5G” is basically a marketing term for a catch all of some assortment of newer mobile/wireless frequencies, protocols, connections and so on.
Which basically means– there’s no firm definition on what 5G is or what it will do, or what we really call 5G or 6G or whatever, or hell, we don’t even know what 5G is gonna look like outside of some recently developed stuff for mobile phones that is barely rolling out.
So basically — everyone is saying 5G is gonna be the thing that will change everything… but no one really knows what that means or how it will be implemented yet — what we do know is that it can provide high bandwidth, low latency mobile connections, especially in urban areas…. other than that, throw a dart at the wall and maybe you get one right or not.
