What does it mean when wildlife biologists say that “an eagle can see a rabbit in a field from miles away”? Does this imply that their vision is automatically more zoomed in? Do they have better than 20/20 vision, or is their vision simply clearer?

Not going to explain anything, but I will share a story from today, fishing in Canada, an eagle spotted a fish floating in the water from an island 500 yards away. It took off and plucked it out of the water and back to its perch 500 yds away. The seagulls were not happy.
