Pickle juice is basically salted water – helping your body to retain the fluids. If you’re drinking enough water you shouldn’t have issues retaining enough in the first place.

Some people think cramp is caused by a lack of salts in your system. Pickle juice contains salts. However cramp is most likely caused by muscle overload so drinks with salts probably don’t have much affect on cramp.

Isn’t pickle juice basically just vinegar? Drinking that stuff often would explain your sensitive stomach. Vinegar is healthy in small amounts, but not too much.
