What exactly happens in a Great White Shark’s body/behavior in the moments after it senses blood in the area?

As in what is the process from the moment it smells blood that causes the frenzy? Can it be considered as almost a high?

I’d guess it’s the exact same as humans smelling fried food and sugary food. Our noses (or brains, really) immediately know that whatever we’re smelling is incredibly calorie-dense food.
