I know I’m missing a lot of key 6 for the most part, the body has to put IN vitamins and minerals to help digest it and gets less back. Kinda like being on a ship with no fruits and veggies. It’s not a complete diet and you start to lose key items for your body to function. As for the symptoms I’m not sure
Some nutrients are hard to dissolve without a little bit of fat to help. A little bit of fat helps make other things that aren’t quite as soluble pass through the membrane with it.
Protein is a good example. When your body is breaking down a meal with a lot of protein and at least a little bit of fat, it will create little chunks of protein that will get coated in a layer of fat that will help it be absorbed.
But rabbit is so lean that it basically has no fat. Which means that it is hard to absorb the calories of protein in it if you don’t have enough fat in your diet to do so. So if you ever have to rely on rabbits for calories, you need to make sure you keep a little bit of oil to cook them in and eat with them.
