lol I know it’s a weird question, but I’ve seen were competitive eaters train their bodies to ignore or I guess ” block ” the signal and keep eating. And then for me as a person, sometimes when I’m eating dinner, I feel like I could eat a lot more if I didn’t stop, but 5-10 minuets after I stop eating, I start feeling the fullness. Idk if this question makes sense or not, but just curious if it’s a signal our brain gives our stomach that it has enough food in it, or is it literally the fact that you feel full because most of the space is filled. Thanks.

Ghrelin is made in your stomach and signals your brain when you’re hungry. Your fat cells produce leptin. Leptin lets your brain know when you have enough energy stored and feel “full.”
Basically chemicals tell your brain you’re full. That’s why for example marijuana gives people the “munchies” because the chemical reaction basically can get your brain to ignore these signals and you can just eat and eat until you feel sick.
These are the chemicals the appetite suppressors interact with too
