What gives you the ” full ” feeling after you eat?

lol I know it’s a weird question, but I’ve seen were competitive eaters train their bodies to ignore or I guess ” block ” the signal and keep eating. And then for me as a person, sometimes when I’m eating dinner, I feel like I could eat a lot more if I didn’t stop, but 5-10 minuets after I stop eating, I start feeling the fullness. Idk if this question makes sense or not, but just curious if it’s a signal our brain gives our stomach that it has enough food in it, or is it literally the fact that you feel full because most of the space is filled. Thanks.

yo that makes total sense our brain and stomach are wild team players. it takes time for your brain to realize you’re stuffed. those eaters must have a next level stomach. im just trying to eat my pizza without exploding haha
