What happens if mosquitos can’t find a place with still water to hatch their eggs

I’m currently living in a tropical area of Asia, and mosquitos are a major nuisance here. I have grown to hate them with even more passion than I had before. I have recently dropped $1k+ in installing these mosquitos window nets in my apartment, which essentially blocks outside mosquitos from coming into the apt, but the ones currently trapped inside the apt I will just have to wait until all of them die out.

I have been very careful about not having stand water anywhere in the apartment, if the blood sucking females can’t find places to lay eggs, will they just eventually die on their own? How does this work?

They will fly farther to find stagnant water – increasing the risks that they might die to predation before getting to lay eggs. So yes, you see a drop in population in your neighborhood.
