What happens to stomach acid once food is ready to move to the next step of digestion? How does the body dispose of it without causing harm to itself?

The acid moves with food but the pancreas secrete a bicarbonate solution to neutralize the acid so the food can be digested without making wholes in the intestine.

Also digestion occurs in an alkaline environment. And then you just kinda poop it all out. (Minus nutrients and water etc.)
