What happens when we water plants?

The water sinks into the dirt and the roots are able to absorb it through osmosis (basically: I don’t have as much water as the stuff outside me so I’m gonna take some). Water is kinda like plant blood and bones. It fills the plant to make it stand up straight and it moves nutrients through the plant
