Teslas motors are very good. They are high rpm and very high output for their size and weight. This is due to some proprietary tech that actually is pretty advanced. Lucid has more advanced motor tech, but it is more expensive. The VAG (Porsche/Audi) high end motors are very nearly as good. But then Tesla also has excellent power management and distribution. All in all Tesla no longer really has a big tech advantage, the rest of the premium EV companies have largely caught up.

All electric vehicles work in the same basic fashion, with a lithium ion battery connected to electric motors with a big control box in the middle. The biggest differences come from the styling, tuning, and build quality. Teslas have their own style just like any other car brand, and some people prefer one over the other. Tuning varies by car, but it mostly comes down to how much power is given when the accelerator pedal is at a certain position. Build quality is a much more complicated subject, since a car gas thousands of parts designed by thousands of engineers that all have to fit together and be able to be assembled quickly on a moving line.
