I’m seeing alot of “3x long graniteshares” on trading 212 and not sure what it is. I know when you buy a “short” position you’re banking on the price declining. Is a “long” position the opposite? Thanks!
A long position is buying a stock with the expectation that it will go up in value. A short position, is a bit more complicated. But it’s a series of moves that an investor makes, when they expect a stock to go down.
