What is an occulted front?

I’ve been fascinated with the weather recently and I understand what a warm front is, and i understand what a cold front is. I know where occluded fronts happen (usually) but I don’t understand the science behind it.

It helps to think about the name, “occluded”, which means “closed up”. Basically, two cold sections of air pinch together a section of warm air, and that warm air is forced upward (this only happens with warm air because cold air would fall, and cause the pinching fronts to just go over it).
