I wouldn’t recommend it. Whitening toothpastes will make you teeth whiter but also damage your enamel.
As for what it is, it’s just toothpaste with charcoal powder added to scratch up your teeth.
It’s a tooth-whitener. Supposedly less abrasive on the enamel than hydrogen peroxide found in most whitening toothpastes. At least that’s what my dentist told me when I asked him.
