I watched intervention and the opiate addict said, we nod out standing up BECAUSE we stay high longer. If we lay down, we fall asleep and ruin the high. When w stand, outer body can’t fall asleep and we are stuck in a state of high, the moment we lay down we pass out.
They stand so they can feel the high longer.
