Something about our immune system doesn’t normally recognize our other body organs like eyes, testes..etc?

Your immune system is various types of cells that can recognize foreign things like bacteria, viruses, etc. to attack them. Those cells get to where the problems are by going through blood vessels/lymph vessels. If there are no blood vessels, like in your eye cornea and lens, they can’t get there. Other areas have tissues that won’t let the immune cells get out of the blood vessels. Immune privileged just refers to those places where immune cells are off limits
