The same way one rubber band on a watermelon doesn’t do anything but 500 will make it explode.

Larger is not stronger across the board. Some people use steroids to increase muscle bulk, yet they remain weak. And some animals like gorillas and monkeys can lift way beyond what humans with the same size muscles could achieve. You’ve probably seen people who were thing yet very strong. There’s a chemical process in muscle use that varies among species and humans.

Typically, the larger the muscle, the more individual fibers it’s comprised of. Each fiber pulls with the same strength for each one of them. The more individual fiber are pulling, the stronger the muscle overall.
