What is the difference between 3G, 4G and 5G?

Faster downloads, ability to serve more people. It’s just stands for the 3rd, 4th, and 5th generations of mobile technology. Each requires new hardware to support.
Support for the old ones goes away over time. 3G is already being shut down in some places, so if you have a phone from when that was the latest tech available, it no longer will be able to connect to the network.
