What is the difference between Logistics and Freight Forward?

They are similar. Logistics is getting something from point A to point B. Freight forwarding is usually used in reference to a party, a freight forwarder, that is contracted to arrange that transportation. If you have a car that you want to ship overseas, for example, a freight forwarder could work with one party to package the car, another to truck it to the port, another to transport it on an ocean vessel, another to file the export paperwork, etc. You don’t have to know how to do any of that, you would just pay the freight forwarder to take care of it.
