Sound is vibrations in the air. The pitch is the frequency, how many vibrations there are every second. For example, middle C is 262 vibrations per second, called 262 Hz.

An octave is a doubling in frequency, so the C above middle C is 262*2=524 Hz. If you think about it as a wave, the peaks of the 2 C waves line up, which is why they sound similar.

A key is a set of notes(pitches) that sound nice together.

A scale is an order of the notes in a key that sounds nice.

in music, scale refers to a range of notes that are played in ascending or descending order. an octave is a unit of measurement used to describe the distance between two notes on a scale – for example, the note a is an octave above the note c. the key of a piece of music is the tonal center around which the melody and harmony are based – it’s usually represented by one of the first seven letters of the alphabet (a-g). pitch describes how high or low a note sounds.

Pitch is basicaly the frequency of a note.

An octave is an interval whose higher note has a sound-wave frequency of vibration (pitch) twice that of its lower note.

A scale is a graduated sequence of notes, tones, or intervals dividing what is called an octave.

A key is the main group of pitches, or notes, that form the harmonic foundation of a piece of music.
