In sound we have dB and dBA. They both measure sound intensity but dBA attempts to factor in the human ability to perceive sound as well. For example an extremely high dB in a dog-whistle frequency would be imperceptible to a human, half that intensity in dBA from a speaker system might be deafening.

Similarly we have two measures of light measurement. Radiant flux, measured in Watts, is the sum total of all light-energy emitted from a star. Luminosity, measured in Lumens, measures purely the portion of the radiant flux that is visible to the human eye.
