What is the difference between Weed sold at a dispensary vs Delta 9 weed sold everywhere else?

Noticed regular smoke shops and non smoke related places selling Delta 8 and Delta 9 products. What is the difference between these products vs say a gram of Wax from a dispensary (think 710 Labs sorta thing)?

DELTA 8 Products are made with THC-0, which is derived from Hemp, a non THC producing plant.

THC-O isn’t really a THC like you’ll get at a shop, generally THC-A. THC-0 is made from breaking down CBD from Hemp into THC Delta 8, and then washing the Delta 8 in acetic anhydride to created THC-0

I wouldn’t recommend it, Acetic Anhydride is a HIGHLY CORROSIVE CHEMICAL and contact can severely irritate and burn the skin and eyes with possible eye damage. Not what you want to eat
