What is the different between fresh water and spring water?

Spring water comes from a spring, which is groundwater rising up to the surface. Fresh water is any natural source of water that lacks dissolved solids like salt. Most spring water is fresh water, but most fresh water is *not* spring water—most freshwater comes from rainfall, not underground aquifers.
