The oil on your skin and head is a substance called sebum, which is excreted in order to maintain the structural integrity of the skin by lubricating it and supplying vitamin E. It also is slightly acidic, helping to neutralize alkaline contaminants from the air. Finally, it also acts as a barrier against bacteria, by covering you in a relatively thick goop that bacteria would struggle to move through before they could even reach your skin.

It is more akin to wax than an oil, and is a complex mixture of chemicals. You would likely be unable to cook with it, even if you could get it in sufficient quantities.

It would likely be, in my opinion, very gross.

I’m not sure about cooking with it but I do know if you put your “nose grease” in a foamy beer it will in foam it quickly.
