Basically we have a part of our brain that contains a list of things we need for survival- such as food and water. When we get addicted to something, it gets added to this subconscious list. So you crave the addictive thing the same way you crave food and water, because your brain has made itself believe it NEEDS it.

Marijuana IS addictive, so I’m not sure why you think it isn’t. But yeah.

It’s really not that complicated. For people to assert that cannabis is not physically addictive they have to make up their own definition.

“Physically addictive” means taking a drug that causes unpleasant physical symptoms after stopping or cutting the dosage. That’s it.

Unpleasant physical symptoms on quitting have been extremely well documented for cannabis in more places than just r/leaves.

Just for fun, watch someone try to argue that it isn’t. As they get pushed back and back they have to end with what they hope is the trump card: **”TO BE PHYSICALLY ADDICTING QUITTING HAS TO KILL YOU!!!”**

No, it doesn’t.
