What makes something the Pinkest Pink?

Question

So I read about the fight between the blackest black and the Pinkest pink.

I understand what makes something the blackest black (absorbs the most light). And almost every article I read about the blackest black explains this definition.

However, nowhere can I find what makes the Pinkest pink, as in what makes it the Pinkest? Not what materials, but what constitutes “pinkness” that it most represents?
