What’s the difference between existentialism and absurdism?

Existentialism says that we have no inherent meaning here, and that we must create our own meaning for our existence, whatever that may be.

Absurdism focuses more on that relationship, that you have a meaningless world and a creature who does nothing but look for meaning it it. And how absurd that is. That humans should not look to make their own meaning like existentialism says, but to embrace directly that there is no meaning, and be at peace with that.
