Anthropology is the study of man. So it also covers our evolutionary ancestors like homo erectus and our former human cousins Neanderthals. Anthropologists might study the oldest known site of cave drawings; or one of the first known occurrences of early man actually placing a body in a burial site as opposed to just leaving bodies where they died. Also the progression of the use and sophistication of tools. Obviously it’s a broad field I just wanted to add this aspect of anthropology.
