Sociology is the study of human interactions – how we relate to each other and things in our environments as individuals and sometimes as groups (from small to large). Anthropology is the study of cultures – the norms and expectations we create based on some common identity. Sociology doesn’t necessarily include identity, although it can. But Anthropology is more specific and studies people in context of an identity.
