When a bomb explodes, how does it actually kills a person?

First I want to say I’m not a native english speaker, so I may say something that you don’t understand or that it’s grammatically incorrect.

Ok, now let’s dive into the question. I know some of you may say it’s because the bomb simply exploded, but does the person die from the burns caused by the heat, from the impact they receive after being “thrown” or because they received damage from blastering fragments? I didn’t find any post in this sub, but I guess is just a matter of knowing how a bomb works. Thanks in advance for your answers.

Its a combination of things…it depends person to person!

Sometimes if they’re far enough, the force of the bomb could throw them and the pure force kills them before being incinerated by the flames. Otherwise they could be incinerated instantly depending on the type of the bomb and how close they were.
