When a movie takes place in winter, but the movie set is indoors (Ex: “The Terror”), do they cool the set somewhat?

In the AMC show “The Terror” a group of British explorers and they’re two ships get stuck in the arctic ice. This show is almost entirely filmed indoors on a sound stage. When filming a show that takes place entirely in the arctic, do they chill the set at least somewhat to mimic the winter cold? If so, how is this done? Giant air conditioners of some sort I’m guessing.

No. It is common for movies about Christmas to film in the summer and the actors are in 80 degree weather in sweaters and scarves.

If it does not show up on the camera, they don’t normally bother with it for movies.
