When initially working out, why are you getting stronger but not building any visible muscle?

Eat more protein .. muscle building is a slow process so initially it’s not easy to see a difference.. if they don’t have the building blocks to grow then you will still gain strength but not size .. or it will be an even slower process .. intensity of workout also plays a major role .. for example prison inmates gain size over time even with their small amount of protein intake .. because they workout intensely .. all of this is majorly simplified though many other things affect muscle size such as testosterone and genetics
