When learning a musical instrument, why do you feel that you can’t improve anymore (or even feel that you’re unlearning), then you go to sleep and the next day you feel that you’ve actually improved a lot?

I think sometimes it feels like you’re unlearning when you practice the same thing for so long that you get tired, and the technique gets sloppier/you make more mistakes. Progress is not completely linear and breaks are often needed!
