Who do central banks sell their gold to? Can I as an individual citizen buy gold from them?

I understand that many central banks are accumulating gold at the moment, but there will be a time where they want to sell, right? Do they just sell it to other countries’ central banks, or also to people/companies?

It’s up to the bank if they sell to individuals or not(most likely not), but yes an individual can buy gold extremely easily. There are plenty of gold dealers out there.

Gold is supposed to be backed by a real gold supply but just like everything in finance. It’s all fake. All the buying and selling. The price is artificially controlled by central banks/hedge funds and has been for many decades. And the tiny portion of gold being sold to people is from 3rd parties. Costco will sell you gold.
