I have seen on online home renovation vidoes that people in US houses in India/Pakistan/Bangladesh/Middle East are made of bricks/concrete.

Wood is extremely cheap in USA.
So much so, that occasionally it’s cheaper to import wood from US/Canada than to use the same wood from Indian sources.
They have a lot ot land, ergo a lot of trees.
